Basically, rumination means that you continuously think about the various aspects of situations that are upsetting.

HOW TO REDUCE repetitive thinking:

1. You can briefly suspend the over-thinking.
2. Redirect your attention to safe parts of the body (toes).
3. Reflect on one action that you can take to manage the problem.

This practice is called “Stopping and Dropping”.
